BMHR (Battery Handling Management Rules)
Amara Raja Batteries Ltd. participates in BMHR – (Battery Handling Management Rules) Project, initiated by the Government of India. For over a decade, ARBL has practiced lead recycling by collecting scrap batteries generated while selling new one. Used battery collection centers have been set up across the country for customers to deposit the used batteries which are being replaced. The used batteries are carefully transported to designated smelting plants for the safe lead-recycle process, with no danger of air / water pollution. ARBL is strongly committed to a safe and pollution-free environment.
