After finishing his education in the US, Jayadev Galla worked for a while as an International Sales Executive for GNB Battery Technologies, Inc., USA (now part of Exide Technologies, Inc., USA). He then started as a management executive at Amara Raja Batteries in 1992, from where he has grown to take over as the Managing Director in 2003.
