Our Private Labeling business was flagged off in 2001 with a view to increase our share of business in the organized battery segment in the Indian market. Armed with the superior product range and an alliance with world biggest battery manufacturer, Johnson Control USA, Amara Raja ventured into private labeling with Bosch silver batteries.
By the subsequent year we had begun to manufacture, brand and sell GM's AC Delco range automotive batteries, Lucas Endura & Pacer Batteries. We manufacture batteries for Cummins, the largest independent automotive engine manufacturer in India.
We also manufacture batteries for Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd, the leading company delivering high quality power products for home today.
