Who can Race?

Driver Eligibility

    • The Amaron Karting Challenge is exclusively for school kids in the age group of 12-16 yrs.

    • Participants must produce a bonafide certificate from their schools to qualify for participation.

    • The challenge is open to all competitors holding a valid MAI Karting Competition License or a Club sport license (Rs.250/-) which can be obtained at the event.

    • Competitors who desire to obtain a competition license may do so by applying through the organising circuit or directly to the MAI who will issue the licenses.

    • Competitors must produce their license for inspection before commencing the race.

    • The stewards may exclude any driver whose driving is dangerous or displays lack of experience and understanding of racing a kart.

    • Competitors must comply with any particular requirement or byelaw of the circuit.

    • Drivers under the age of 18 must ensure that a parent or guardian attends the event and is present with the minor if the driver is required to be interviewed by an official of the event or penalized by the Clerk of the Course and countersigns all paperwork.

    • Winners of the regional rounds (1st, 2nd and 3rd) of the AKC 2007, winners of the regional rounds (1st, 2nd and 3rd) of the 2005 & 2006 JK Tyre National Karting Championship, MAI MRF National Karting Championship and the JK Tyre Rota Mojo Max Indian Karting Championship or any other karting/racing championships are not allowed to participate in this Amaron Karting Challenge.*
